If you are looking for a safe way, use Dawn dish washing liquid. It is safe and will suffocate the fleas. Just leave it on for a few minuets and then rinse it off. As far a protection goes, I recommend Revolution. It takes care of fleas, ticks, heart worms, and ear mites!

No, unfortunately. Hartz flea products have been known to kill many animals because of the chemicals put in them.
The only flea medications I have heard can be used on ferrets (I have never had a flea problem yet!) are Advantage and Frontline. I would bring them to the vet so that you can get the exact dosage for each of their weights.

Hi there,
As a Hartz representative, I highly recommend not using our Hartz UltraGuard Pro on your ferrets. Our UltraGuard products are specially formulated to kill fleas and ticks on cats and dogs. We want your ferrets to remain safe, so recommend giving them a bath using a gentle dish soap. We hope that this helps!
