Can guinea pigs use the flying saucer disc wheel?

I'm aware that guinea pigs cant use traditional wheels because their spines don't bend that way, but what if got a couple and gave them a 12 inch flying saucer (disc wheel)? I am not gonna be able to let them roam free at all without them getting into trouble so I'm thinking if i get them this and put them in a little playpen, they'll have a flat surface to run on to get the exercise that way. Opinions of this welcome, I've never had guinea pigs before, Thanks!

howdy! i'm so sorry. i comprehend the kind you opt for for to work out those guineas working around because of the fact it seems cute, yet guinea pigs are merely no longer the "hi enable's pass run sort." they are no longer made for wheels no count how right now it seems. Wheels are particularly built for small animals at the same time with ferrets, rats, and hamsters, yet guinea pigs are no longer on the record. extra advantageous risk-free than sorry good? i'm hoping this could help!

I would assume no. Besides, I highly doubt they would use it. They don't need to roam free for exercise. A proper size cage (sizing here http://www.guineapigcages.com/ ) with floor time in a playpen is all they need.

I believe it would be ok for them to use it since it doesn't bend their back as much but i doubt they would use it but if you want to give it a try.
