i'm leaving next week to go to a christmas party for two days and then go back home. the problem is. is that i can't bring it because they have a dog and it's going to be crowded so i don't know where to put her. is it ok if i leave my rabbit home instead, with lot's of food and water, for two days? or is it bad? and i don't know about the concept about the rabbit being all sad when it's alone, can you explain?

No you cannot leave it for 2 days. I'll explain why. Rabbits do not understand the concept of saving food for later. If you load them up with more pellets than usual, they will likely eat them all at once. This could cause severe stomach issues since any change in a rabbit's diet can cause GI stress. Also, there is no way to ensure that his water doesn't run out. As you (hopefully) know, a rabbit that stops eating for 12 or more hours, can also go into GI stress.

A rabbit's diet is nothing to mess around with. You really need to find someone to stop in and care for your rabbit. If that can't be done, you could make arrangements for a close-by neighbor or friend to take the rabbit and watch it for those 2 days. These would be the best 2 options.

Taking the rabbit with you to the party would not be advised. Rabbits don't travel well. They stress in new environments. And they especially can stress with all the party noises and unfamiliar dog.

No!!!! If you leave a rabbit alone for even just a night, they could stop eating, and die!!! You ould come home to a dead rabbit, so i would not recommend leaving her! If you have 2 or more rabbits, then its fine because they have someone to socialize with, but don't leave one alone for more then a day.

Rabbits don't usually know how to stop eating so they might eat all the food straight away and get sick or if your rabbit gets sick while you're gone and needs attention it could get worse by the time you get home.

As long as you leave it enough food and water it should be fine :) you could even ask a neighbour or friend to go feed it everyday

Just leave your rabbit at home and he'll be fine. just leave him with enough water and food for 2 days.
